Continuing "Next Generation"

"Die!" a Firebat growled as he began to incinerate every single soldier

"Not this time" Buckley's hiss could be heard as he soon jumepd out of the bushes and stabbed one of the soldiers with his bayonet, he then drew out a SMG machine gun as he gunned down the rest of them

"About spirits and guardian angels?" Rod asked

"Get them!" a soldier roared as they kept on tossing poisonous grenades and shooting them with their snipers.

"Yes, how did you know?" Lee asked.

"Don't fall back!" the marine growled as some other hundreds of marines entered the war

"I just know it, trust me" Rod sighed

Naeten then covered her mouth and coughed harshly as she struggled not to breathe in the toxic atmosphere. Her mind then drifted into the long dormant memories of her past childhood as she now remembered what happened on that fateful day.

She recalled seeing several airplanes swooping over the village and dropping bombs on their houses, causing them to explode into flames. The villagers had fled into the underground tunnel to hide from the interlopers as Lida and Naeten tried to fight their way through the crowd of people. Unfortunately, one of the soldiers lunged for Naeten and she dashed away from her mother to escape. Lida then screamed out for her daughter as Naeten dashed madly towards the forest with several soldiers pursuing her.

But then Lee, her best friend, caught up with her as she joined her in their daring escape from the federal agents that sought their capture. Unbeknowst to Naeten, Lee had defied her parents by running out to rescue her best friend from the villainous agents. She had left their hiding place while Adrienne, Sivonne and Jeune stayed behind with their mother and father.

"Let's get out of here!" Lee cried as she grabbed Naeten's hand and the two fled deeper into the foggy woods, which led into the murky swamp. Several alligators were lurking in the waters, looking for prey to eat.

The two girls then ran faster through the dense fog as they tried to outrun their pursuers but it got harder and harder to see where they were going. Very soon they stopped in the middle and they were figuring out where else to go.

"Where are we?" Naeten whimpered.

"I don't know," Lee whispered.

"I think I know who I'm supposed to protect now," Lee whispered as she glanced up at her wrist. She then noticed the strange symbol move as it formed the words, "Sasha".

"Oh my God," she gasped in astonishment.

"Keep up! We are winning!" Buckley yelled as the marines got the upepr hand and began to kill the last pack of soldiers

"Why her?" Rod sighed

Just then the soldiers began to fire at them and the two girls dove into the water. As the bullets skirted rapidly on the surface, the alligators spotted the children and slunk menacingly towards them. They snapped at them as Naeten and Lee screamed and began to swim away in terror. They dashed and paddled wildly through the murky depths as the alligators kept on snarling and hissing and lashed out their tails.

One of them then grabbed Naeten's sleeve and was about to rip her arm off. Naeten then screamed shrilly. "Lee, help!" she cried.

Lee then picked up a large boulder and then threw it at the alligator's heading, forcing him to let of her friend. Naeten then returned to Lee and they resumed their swim.

But then the alligators were stabbed with harpoons and the girls were caught in nets before they were dragged to the shore. They were soon hoisted into the air as the soldiers held them up.

"We got them, General!" one of them barked as his counterpart smirked. "Yes we did. Now we can report to our superior on our findings of these mysterious freak children."

"Lee! We have to get out of here!" Naeten screamed as the soldiers split up into different groups and the girls found themselves going separate ways.

"Naeten!" Lee screamed as she thrashed and kicked wildly in her net.

"Lee!" Naeten wailed as she saw her friend disappear into the fog.

"Because she needs me for moral guidance and I am the one to give it to her. I know you don't exactly trust her but she still needs us," Lee sighed.

(You don't even chat with me)

"I understand" Rod nodded

(I have work to do. As a matter of fact, I take a virtual class every day. When I have time to chat with you, I'll let you know. I still love you, but please understand that I have other things to worry about now)

Naeten then kept on coughing hoarsely as she gasped and clutched her throat. Soon her eyes drooped slightly as she collapsed on her knees and soon fell to the ground, unconscious.

"At least try to talk to her and try to rebuild some sort of relationship to her. It's time you two made up," Lee retorted sternly.

(I just hope that that 3-year waiting promise is still up)

"Medic!" Buckley yelled as one medic went over to Nateen and picked her up on her arms before carrying her towards the Hyperion

Naeten then coughed softly as she was still knocked out from the poisonous fumes.

(Did you know that today is Patrick's birthday?)

(Yeah, i made a gift to him, but it's not in dA cuz it's for adults)

"Calm down, dear, you'll be alright" the medic assured Nateen as she entered the med lab with her

"Okay" Rod sighed

(Okay; you could have made him something that is good for dA)

"Where am I?" Naeten gasped.

"I'll call her," said Lee as she picked up her phone and dialed Sasha's number.

(How did you like my gift for him?)

"You are in the med lab of the Hyperion" the medic repleid as she went over to pick a small bottle terrazine-nitric acid and handed it to her "Drink this"

Sasha's phone then rang as sjhe picked it up "Hello?"

(Don't ask me, ask Patrick, i shouldn't say something about it cuz it's not for me)

(Oh, okay. Sorry about that)

"I thought I was going to die today," Naeten murmured as she took the potion and drank it, choking slightly. "Just like I thought I was going to die more than 50 years ago when me and the kids were taken away."

"Hello; this is Lee," Lee replied. "Timbuktu has been sent over to deliver some news. My village is now under attack."

(Can we chat?)

"Really?" Sasha gasped

(Not right now; I'm still kind of busy. And I may be sick again)

"Yeah, by government agents. And there is one other thing. I've received a vision from a goddess and she has chosen me to be your guardian angel," Lee added. "Also, you need to try to mend things with Rod if you want to have another baby with him."

(Fine, you don't love me at all then)

"I'll try" Sasha sighed

(Just ignore me if you think I don't love you)

"Madame!" Timbuktu cried as he swooped into Sasha's room and bowed. "The Kingdom of Aquarius is under attack!"

(No, i don't wanan lose you )

"I know" Sasha sighed

(Then be patient; that's what you do best, right?)

"I apologize for my tardiness, Madame," Timbuktu said. "The air travel was significantly rough from Louisiana to here."

"Let's go see Sasha, shall we?" Lee inquired as she grabbed Rod's and Aliya's hand as she closed her eyes and the three disappeared in a flash of blue light. They soon got teleported back in the Petrie house in L.A., right in front of Timbuktu and Sasha.

"Here we are," Lee announced as Aliya was amazed by the sight of the house. "Wow, Aunt Lee. It's beautiful. I'd like to live here."

"We have to ask Momma and Poppa for permission first, my love," Lee smiled at the little girl.

(I am sorry, i am sad cuz i was chatting with Dessy while she was menstrating, and... well, you knwo the rest)

"I know" Sasha sighed

"You will" Rod smiled at Aliya

(That's okay; some women tend to be emotional during their periods; she'll be fine by the time it ends)

"Hello, Sasha. I brought Rod here so you two could talk," Lee chimed to the elderly blue-haired Turian alien.

(I am sad now )

"I don't wanan talk to him" Sasha sighed as she crossed her arms and turned away from Rod

"Neither do i" Rod muttered

"What is the matter with you two? I know you two had problems in the past, but why can't you try to talk it out?" Lee growled.

(Now will you leave me too?)

"I don't care" Sasha huffed

"Neither me" Rod sighed
